In order for the smart window handle to be used via a smartphone or a home controller, a control center from Apple Home, Google Home or Samsung SmartThings that supports both Matter and Thread is required.

Note on use
To benefit from the full functionality of the SIEGENIA smart window handle, we recommend using the SIEGENIA HomeConnect app. There is currently a temporary display error under HomePod software version 17.4 and tvOS 17.4, which currently lists the smart window handle from SIEGENIA with "No response" in Apple Home. This does not restrict the functionality of the smart window handle. The window handle is accessible as the app view is updated by selecting the product. The upcoming updates to HomePod software version 17.5 and tvOS 17.5 should fix this display error!
